A FOREST RETREAT INSPIRED BY DESIGN, CRAFT AND THE QUIET OF WEST VIRGINIA

Surrounded by 5 private wooded acres, sits a minimally-modern black cabin tucked between the Appalachian ridges of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. This cabin, Forest House, was designed to encourage escape, relaxation, and reflection. Whatever your need, Forest House holds space - just a two hour drive from Washington, DC & Baltimore.

Forest House was thoughtfully decorated with a mixture of found and purchased items - new and vintage. The color pallet is a mixture of muted hues, wood finishes, and black accents to highlight forested views and allow your mind space to reflect and center. Step inside and experience what it feels like to exist immersed in nature within a space that is modern and minimal, yet retains the familiarity of a cabin.

Deep green oak leaves stand out against the cabin’s warm black exterior. You will find several spots to settle and reflect in ample outdoor living space. Let the calm of nature set the tone for your escape from the realities of everyday life.

“Wow - what an incredible find. From the moment we arrived to the wind rustling the leaves in the dusk light to the rain pattering on the roof to the great interior design and amazing coffee set up, every moment was peaceful, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed. If you are looking for an escape in the trees, this place is stunning and cannot be missed. Can't wait to visit again!”
